The opening night of Olwethu De Vos’s solo exhibition, MATURED, at Alive Art in Kramerville was a beautiful gathering of art lovers, supporters, and friends. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, reflection, and conversation as guests engaged deeply with the works and the themes they embody.
We extend heartfelt thanks to our partners and sponsors for their invaluable support in bringing this project to life. A special word of gratitude also goes to Palesa Suthane, Senior Curator at BNAP Foundation, whose thoughtful opening remarks set the tone for an evening of meaning and connection.
MATURED explores the evolving bodies of women over thirty, inviting us to reflect on time, change, and the stories carried within us. The exhibition runs until 8 September 2025 at Alive Art, 24 Archimedes Street, Wendywood, Kramerville, Sandton.
For those who could not attend the opening, there is still time to visit and experience this important body of work.
